In der OECD-Ratsgruppe "Rural Development" werden seit 1991 Konzepte zur international vergleichbaren
Erfassung des Ausmaßes des ländlichen Raumes sowie Grundsätze von Politikmaßnahmen einer
integrierten ländlichen Entwicklung erarbeitet. Zum Verständnis des internationalen Vergleichs
werden im folgenden die Analysemethode und die Hauptergebnisse der bisher veröffentlichten
Arbeiten dieser OECD-Ratsgruppe dargestellt.
